Vegetable Medley with Sesame Sauce

Instructions:

Yield: 8 servings

Vegetable Medley
1 cup Onions, thinly sliced
1 cup Carrots, thinly sliced
1 cup Daikon radish, thinly sliced
4 cup Broccoli florets
4 cup Cauliflower florets
2 cup Cabbage, chopped
2 tbsp Sesame seeds

Sesame Sauce
1 tbsp Toasted sesame oil
2 tbsp Tamari
1 tbsp Brown rice vinegar

MEDLEY: Steam vegetables until they are tender-crisp (5 minutes). Plunge into cold water to stop cooking & drain well. Transfer to a serving bowl & set aside.

Roast sesame seeds in a small skillet over medium heat, until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Set aside.

SAUCE: Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over the vegetables & toss to coat. Sprinkle with the roasted seeds & serve.
