Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon catsup
2 teaspoons chili powder
6 dashes cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
4 cups pecan halves
salt to taste

Melt butter in a large saucepan; add Worcestershire sauce, catsup, chili powder, cayenne and liquid smoke

Stir in the nuts and mix well, then evenly spread them on a baking pan, Toast at 375 degrees about 20 minutes, stirring several times.

Turn out on absorbent towels, and sprinkle with salt and cool.
